Boomerang is treating the us to an all day marathon of the Justice League. Yesterday I was lamenting that JL hadn’t been on in ages. I’m not talking Justice League Unlimited which airs nightly, I’m talking the first 3 seasons when it was the original seven and only the seven. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter Jonn. Yes it was limited, but limits are good. Who needs hundreds of superheroes? I don’t. Sure there are some very good JLU episodes, and I watch all of the indiscriminately over and over and over, but gosh I missed being sick to death of seeing the same Justice League episodes every night.

What does this have to do with Waking the Dead? Nothing. I’m just burning out with the site changes I’ve been making. Too many programs want to completely take over. I miss the old days when most programs were bare bones and you added your own sparkly bits. Now they want to impose their bits, sparkly or not over your entire site. It is all in the name of simplification, uniformity, convenience. I don’t know. It just doesn’t seem real convenient to me to keep finding broken parts to the site that should never have been touched.

I’m going to have to find someone who still has explorer 5 and run some tests. Explorer 7 seems to work more like Firefox, but it still is a joke when it comes to CSS. Explorer 6 is a mess.

At the moment, I’m trying to figure out why wordpress thinks I want to use its 404 error page all over the site. I’ve made my own quite lovely and more important informative 404 page and wordpress will deal with it or hit the road.

Twilight is on. I love it when Batman and Superman get snippy with each other.

Not wounded at all. The first part of Wounds, the fifth episode of series landed held steady with 6.3 million viewers, which meant a 28 percent share and top spot for the hour. The second part of the episode fared almost as well, drawing 6.1 million viewers for a 27 percent share.

It was another great week for Waking the Dead. The first half of the fourth episode drew 6.1 million viewers for a 25 percent share at 9:00 on Monday. The second half of the Skin episode also drew 6.1 million but this represented a greater share of the viewers, 27 percent for the timeslot.
