Unfortunately, Yahrzeit didn’t win this year’s Edgar award, but there’s always next year. Congratulations to the winner, Burn Notice. I’ve seen the pilot of Burn Notice, it was actually pretty entertaining.

The awards banquet will be held in New York City at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and tickets are selling for $175 per person. Al Roker will be hosting the event. On Tuesday & Wednesday, April 29-30, 2008 they are also holding a symposium which actually sounds pretty cool for any mystery fan.
One of the sessions claims to answer the question: What do Forensic Pathologists and Forensic Psychologists really do? My guess is that it won’t resemble anything we see Grace or Frankie and her replacements ever do on Waking the Dead.
The first part of Sins drew 6.3 million viewers, topping the nearest competitor, Taggart, by roughly 1.6 million.
A bunch of football (soccer) fans may never know how the mystery turned out because the second half of Sins could only convince 5.9 million viewers to turn from Chelsea and Liverpool. Still, Waking the Dead’s viewers did represent a very respectable 24 percent of the overall audience.

The second half of Missing Persons drew over six and one half million viewers for a 28 percent share of the television audience on Tuesday night. It is always good when the audience sticks around to see how things end. The first half of the episode drew 6.8 million for a 27 percent share of the viewing audience.
A great start for Series seven.
They were missed. Welcome Back Cold Case Squad.
Overnight ratings for the first part of Missing Persons gives Waking the Dead a 27 percent share of the audience, more than doubling the pull of the nearest show, The Fixer, which captured 13 percent of the viewing audience. source: The Guardian
Who is this mysterious Luke Boyd person who popped up in the seventh series opener of Waking the Dead? I have a sneaking suspicion that he supposed to be Peter Boyd’s long lost son. The problem is that Boyd’s long lost is named Joe. Could Joe or possibly Luke be a nickname? Did someone just not bother to watch the early episodes? Is this a different son or relation? What happened to Joe’s mother?
If you have any answers, please drop by the forum, there are a bunch of us who are dying to know.
Technically, this is in spoiler territory, and normally I wouldn’t post something like this on the main page, but hopefully, given the extraordinary nature of this silliness, spoiler avoiders will forgive me.
