Call them upgrades or whatever. I’m going to revamp the forum completely - it had to be done, security, convenience, features. This won’t happen easily because the underlying structure is very different, but I’ll try to make it as painless as possible for you guys. The board may be unavailable without notice at times, but just try again later.
Thanks for your cooperation.
From the BBC press office:
Boyd leads the Met’s Cold Case Unit as BBC One’s popular International Emmy Award-winning drama returns for a seventh series to investigate more unsolved murders.
Grace, Eve, Spence and Stella are the other members of Boyd’s Cold Case team who use advanced investigative techniques in forensic science to uncover the truth and bring criminals to justice.
In the opening two-part story, the first of six, the DNA of a woman caught on CCTV camera defending her daughter from a mugger is found to match that discovered at a murder scene in the Nineties; and Boyd’s emotions are challenged when there is news about his son, who has been missing for seven years.
Trevor Eve plays Boyd; Sue Johnston plays Grace; Tara FitzGerald plays Eve; Wil Johnson plays Spence; and Félicité du Jeu plays Stella.
The press release also includes some guest star information that you may or may not want to know. Just in case, I haven’t included it here, but instead posted it in the forum. Check it out here: in the forum’s new series 7 section

In Double Bind Grace and Boyd have a big argument. Weigh in with your opinion and let all of us know what you think about what they said and why they said it, over in the forum. Choose your corner, Grace, Peter or neutral in The Battle of Boyd’s Illness
Nope I haven’t posted the Double Bind cast list yet, that’s because I’m finishing up an omnibus cast list. The first WTD epiosde (not counting the pilot) through Double Bind I just have to make it nice and usable for everyone. Probably tomorrow.
Check out our revamped Waking the Dead DVD pages. It’s connected to Amazon UK so its basically the same place most people would shop anyway. Hopefully, this makes it easier to find the thingees Waking the Dead fans want to watch. Includes all sets of the series currently available, which means 1-4. Plus separate pages of dvds for each cast member, as well as pages for guest stars and generally recommended shows.
FYI: This new structure is just to make things easier and prettier, it is still the case tha no one at ThatBoardThingee will ever know what or if you buy anything.
If there is enough interest, I’ll create a US based dvd page as well.In the mean time, feel free to continue to ask questions and for advice in the forum or post a comment here.
